Pictures from our trip to Washington DC for Thanksgiving - The Prater Family Travelling Circus convened for Thanksgiving. It was only a two ring circus because the 3rd Birch ring was missing.

Fred and Terry enjoyed an overnight summer vacation.  They traveled to the eastern shore of the Chesapeake  Bay, had Maryland blue crab for dinner, crossed the Knapp's Narrows draw bridge to Tilgman Island and spent the night at a bed and breakfast on the bay. The following day they traveled by boat to view 10 lighthouses that are not approachable by land at the north end of the Chesapeake.

These were the garden successes this year. There were some failures too, but both Durango and I enjoyed digging in the dirt. I didn't actually plant the sunflowers, but they are pretty spectacular.
