Maryland Lighthouse Vacation

Sharp's Island Light

Thomas Point Shoal Light
Sandy Point Shoal Light
Fred and Terry enjoyed an overnight summer vacation.  They traveled to the eastern shore of the Chesapeake  Bay, had Maryland blue crab for dinner, crossed the Knapp's Narrows draw bridge to Tilgman Island and spent the night at a bed and breakfast on the bay. The following day they traveled by boat to view 10 lighthouses that are not approachable by land at the north end of the Chesapeake.

Backyard Aromatherapy

First Bloom

Geraniums always remind me of Grandma Prater

 Sunny Sunflowers
These were the garden successes this year. There were some failures too, but both Durango and I enjoyed digging in the dirt. I didn't actually plant the sunflowers, but they are pretty spectacular.

2 Months Old Today!

Two month old cutie pie!

This picture was taken on our walk with Kathryn around White Rock Lake in Dallas.
She seemed to enjoy the walk quite a bit! :)

This is one of the first smiles that I caught on camera.
Her first smile was on January 5th...for my mom. My eyes turned a brilliant shade of green.

Bath time is my favorite time of the day!

Look at me! I am so strong! :)

I can't believe that Natalie is now 2 months old! It has gone by so fast! Today she got three shots and an oral medication too... she was pretty sad afterwards, but calmed down quickly. She is still sore now and sleeping it off at the moment.

We are sure looking forward to seeing so much of the family at her blessing this weekend. It is going to be a blast! Aunt Kathryn came to visit us last week, and that was really fun too!

Natalie is wearing a little dress and bonnet that I wore as a baby that my Grandma Nancy bought for me before she passed away. It brought back memories for my mom. It is so fun that she is wearing clothes that I wore!

Christmas 2009

Christmas has come and gone, but it sure was fun while it lasted. Durango and I made the 10 hour drive to Salt Lake and lucky for him, my mom let him come in the house! He really enjoyed Savannah and Samuel (probably because they had so much sugar on their faces)! We missed having Nancy, Michael and Natalie with us, but we did get to video chat with them which was a lot of fun.
